Our hearth room is just about the coziest place in our home. We enjoy this room in all seasons, but Fall and Winter are our favorite times to sit here by the fire.
The small drop leaf table is set, for a soup supper, beside the fireplace.

Your hearth room is so lovely. Everything in your home is just warm and cozy. Did you ever notice in magazine shoots, you NEVER see a lamp cord! They unplug the lamps and hide the cords somehow...I am sure of it :-)

My eye went right to that fabulous dough bowl standing in the corner by the fireplace. That's what it is, isn't it? Also, the copper pot on top of the cupboard is great. Everything is fantabulous - so warm and cozy. Sally

Everything is just beautiful!! I love the little table for dinner by the fireplace. We eat by the fire alot in the winter with it being just hubby and me and I would love to find a little drop leaf like that!

PS- I spray painted my one of my cords black the other day and it turned out great- just set somewhere where the cord can dangle (outside) and spray away- This will sound silly but I had a light lamp so hung it in a tree limb to spray it-

Pat - It all looks just lovely and warm. I love that pumpkim with the smiling face. He is so friendly. Today I wanted to be outside so much. I would work in the bedroom upstairs and then go something outside - back and forth - back and forth. By the end of the day, I was totally exhausted!
Did you see that Eagle Fork Farms is up and ready for pumpkin business? I want to go early this year to get a good one.

I love your mantel & your tablescape. And I love your hutch. I have the same white ironstone plates that you have on the bottom row, but they are my everyday dishes & have been for 25 years. They are now all scratched & crazing. But I still love them. I just wish they were still pristine like yours.
